Dr. Kelly Goeckner was born in San Jose, California but raised in Wilmington, North Carolina. Loyal to the Wolfpack, she attended North Carolina State University where she played varsity volleyball. Dr. Goeckner graduated summa cum laude with her Bachelors of Science in Chemistry, Bachelors of Science in Polymer and Color Chemistry and a minor in Economics. She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. There, she recieved the Kramer Award of Excellence for demonstrating scholarship, character and the potential promise for advancement of denistry and a year later was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honors Society. She completed her orthodontic residency at the University of Michigan and is a board certified orthodontist through the American Board of Orthodontics. She is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists and North Carolina Association of Orthodontists.
Dr. Kelly Goeckner calls North Carolina home and splits her practice time between both the Raleigh and Cary offices. Aside from helping patients choose color ties and singing to the radio, she enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her husband, son (William) and daughter (Caroline). She loves to play all types of sports, coaches volleyball with the NC KAT Volleyball Club and volunteers with youth sports at the Cary YMCA. She and her family are parishioners of St. Andrews Catholic Church in Apex.
